Would it help?

Would it be a good idea to move the things in my leopard gecko cages every now and then to mix things up for them or would it just stress them out? Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm not sure if it would stress them out, but I really don't think they need to be mentally stimulated. They're pretty simple creatures. :)

I think it depends on the gecko. Some do seem to explore more when things change and some hide out in their caves and appear stressed. Try it and see.

I can't speak for every gecko but mine likes to explore when I move things around in his tank. I try to switch it up every day, yeah reptiles don't need enrichment but it makes me feel better. ;)

I don't move things very often in my leos cage but when I do he starts investigating while I'm still moving things

Haha well this weekend I am about to upgrade from a small tank to a 20 gallon and add some things. I will let you know how it works.

I would not recomend moving stuff around all the time but it is okay to move it around maybe once every month because I too enjoy watching my leopard gecko run around. It isn't something we see too often, ya know.
