Thats sad , rhino vipers are probly my favorite venomous snakes but venomoids are sick and cruel .

if you read on the seller does say that the police obtained it from a drug raid and it was already devenimised. im still a newb, exactly how do they devenomise a snake? i didnt think that was possible, also wouldnt devenomising it make the prey really hard for the snake to digest, because the venom does help break down muscle tissue in their prey items? (i may be wrong on that tho)

They remove the venom glands, alot of snakes die from it . Its just sick and cruel, If you cant handle a loaded gun, you shouldnt have one:main_thumbsup:

Theres a few place like venomoids inc. that does the procedures. Some people who arent licensed do it, do the hacked surgery in there home. Its a sick thing to do to an animal. However this one does deserve a home and a someone who will care for it. Venomoids have been known to do well after the procedure. BUT in most cases the venom does serve a purpose with helping breaking down tissue. And in alot of cases the animal does die. Im not sure the long term affect that may have on the animal.

Another issue with venomoids is that snake venoms play an important role in digestion. So a devenomized snake is doubly handicapped....
