Oh, I thought that since a db is basicly just a blazing blizzard raptor that if you bread 2 together then that is what you would get, all DBs since both are expressing the genes.

They`re supposed to have the yellow eyes also be his "Xanthic" morph, Brian. That is what I thought anyway.
He does have some really cool eyes. I like the orange veining! Looks like he may have a tiny bit of "marbling" on the left side of his eye(right side on the picture). I had hatched an Aptor that looked like similar...I called it "purple eyed". I`ve yet to test breed him to see if he is just a partial "snake eye". I think that may be what he is tho`.
Some of your babies look a little bit yellow in the eyes, but not like RT`s picture on his website. At least you know if he is not a "Diablo" he is at least an Albino "Blanco"(Blizzard) "het for Diablo"(Ruby Eyes).

Dan has a VERY good point here--it could be due to partial snake eye--if light could pass through a tiny bit of snake eye, into the meat of the eye, it would likely alter the appearance of the outer pigments of the eye...similar to dichroic coated glass with a chipped edge on the metallic side. but it does seem that the Tangerine (yellowing) is being expressed in the eye pigments also...and not just the skin?!?

I took a few pictures of the Xanthic male next to a Tremper Blanco het DB, and a Tremper Albino. The Xanthic eye is darker than the Blanco or Albino eye but as you'll see, they're very difficult to tell a part.
The biggest difference is in the body color. The Blanco and red-eyed DB's are white to very white. The Xanthic's are very yellow with white/pink tails. It's difficult for me to capture the colors on camera so I've also include a few body shots for comparison.
Even the hatchlings that I assume are Xanthic, have very yellow bodies. I've included pics of every hatchling to date.
