I think,,....It really looks like a normal bell, and I know theyre eyes are flame red when they hatch. This one lacks the enigma body pattern...But Ive never seen normal bell eyes THIS red. I think this is a Lavender bell enigma. What do you all think. The more i look the more confused I become lol!

While that's a very cool bell Chris, I don't think it's enigma:(

normal looking tail and the band behind the neck is not the typical one found on the enigma. Does it act different than other hatchlings, because enigmas do indeed act different, even if not afflicted with the so called " enigma issues"

Chris, every last person who breeds enigmas wants every single hatchling to be enigma. I too have misID'd a few here and there wanting it to be an enigma. On the other hand, I have "tremper" that I was ready to sell off that are actually definately enigma after a few sheds.

These things are definately named correctly, because they are very hard to ID at times.

:main_robin: I thought maybe I had sub-sonically turned it into an enigma by looking at these eggs so much the past few weeks. the eyes threw me off!

*fingers crossed for the sibling* That's going to be one gorgeous Bell though! If it makes you feel any better we hatched 2 normals from an Enigma breeding today. They aren't nearly as cool as that Bell! lol

Chris, I find myself doing the same thing. I have 2 bell enigmas getting ready to hatch and I am looking at them constantly.. That is a very nice bell though. Dont get down yet. As Paul said it could be an enigma with a normal pattern until it sheds a few times..:main_thumbsup:

Well, the clutchmate hatched looks the same as this one. These 2 are very different from the other lav bells I hatched out earlier this year. They have purplish heads and FIERY red eyes. SO It will be cool to see them grow..
