If youve seen my other post in this section(See here), my leo wasnt eating. I was suggested to try giving him crickets and he ate like 5!! Im glad. Instead of laying around he actually got up and chased them! And when he had one in his mouth still he actually went for another and tried to get it:main_laugh:

Im SOOOO glad he started eating again! I hope i can get him back eating mealworms again:D

Congrats! I know how scary it is when leos dont eat, I have lost 4 sickly babies to starvation and some kind of disease. I had gotten them from a petstore, so even after a trip to the vet, they still died :( :bigcry:. Of course, back then, i didnt know about this site and all you wonderful people :).

Oh, quick question: Is 3-5 (calcium-dusted) crickets per day good enough for a juvenile leo? Or too much/not enough? I ask because I want to be certain on this. I've noticed my lil' guy likes to keep his belly down on the warm floor in the tank quite a lot, so I was wondering if maybe his belly is too full or something.

Only once a week? Hm. Am I over-doing it by dusting every single cricket?
