Yellow Gargoyles. You dont see them very often. I only know of a handful.

They have tickled my fancy and I decided that I am going to start my own yellow garg. project .

I'd like to introduce the foundation gargoyles for my project...

LOL...yea, change of plans I'm now getting 2 Una babies!! LOL

I just LOVE Una, and want a better chance of at least ONE that will look like her or carry those beautiful genes

Yes, all of the names have to do with that spiritual glow around heavenly bodies...so I have Aura, Halo, Orb, and Nimbus

Yellow gargs have a lot of overlooked potential, I agree. Nice looking babies.

I just got an adult female stripe with quite a bit of yellow to her, hard to get good pics that show it well. I'll try to get some this weekend.

As promised, I wanted to update with my 2 new yellow project candidates from Sarah of Lunar Gecko. These 2 are from Una x Wyvern, and each weigh in at 6 grams.

Halo was stiff as a board, and not comfortable at all with the photo taking, lol. I could pose him in anyway I wanted, like a little gargoyle action figure

WOW!! beautiful gargs bowling! it's very uncommon to see yellow gargs, especially around here anyways. i can't stop staring at them haha. very beautiful, congratulations i hope to see what else you produce in the future, keep us posted! these guys are absolutely lovely!

Everyone was partially fired up today. When they fire up I get discouraged because they dont show ANY of the traits that Im looking for.
The yellow shows up best only when unfired, and of course it was picture day, and NO ONE wanted to cooperate in the unfiring dept.:main_rolleyes:
Out of all of them so far...Halo shows the most promise. S/he was SUCH a beautiful shade of yellow today, even partially fired. I had such a hard time getting the camera to pick it up.

Looking good! Believe me, I feel your pain. Whenever any of my yellows fire up it pretty much disappears on them as well. And I know exactly how hard it is to capture the yellow on camera. I hope they turn out the way you want, either way they will be beautiful adults.

Don't get discouraged, That's why its called a project. They may get more color as they age but the yellow your looking for is there, it will just take some refinement. GL :main_thumbsup:

Tara, here is the male we spoke about. Not as nice as the females and looks pretty normal most of the time, but when he looses the dark pattern he has a very nice creamy yellow over his entire body.
