No, smart man, it's easier to snip the guy than the woman, we can get our tubes tied, but there is a chance that a viable egg will sneak through.

After my 2nd boy I informed the docs a triple knot was in order & if I ever, ever get preggo again, they'll have the kid dropped off in their office each morning & at their houses on weekends. I'm pretty sure the knots are secure!

LOL I remember the surgeon asking me just prior to my tubal if I was "absolutely sure" I wanted the procedure done. I just looked at him, reminded him that I had four children, all whilst on birth control, the last one born just prior to my 40th birthday and if he wasn't going to tie em up then hand me some fishing line and a penknife because somebody sure as heck was leaving here with her tubes tied if she had to do it herself!

I think he got the point that I was "absolutely sure". :main_laugh:

this stuff is a new and improved version of that, the doc said that most of the people who were giving the Norplant were not properly trained....that's why it's taking so long now, cause they're making sure that everyone is properly trained

On another note...OF ALL THINGS I had a reaction to the friggen bandaid!! A @I^@#&*(%^*(&$^&*(#^*(& ()@*^$&*()^*(& BANDAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now I have 2 lines of blisters that are perpendicular to the rod!! Right along where the bandaid sat...I kept it clean, dry and in my sleeve so it wouldn't have anything near it.....FIGURES

And that's why you refrain from any activity when you don't want that kind of thing to happen! I've still got 1.5 weeks before I"m in the clear....I may just wait an additional 2....months!!!! Last thing I want right now is to get preggers again, I think my slight grip on sanity would slip away pretty quickly...
