I picked up some new geckos in Daytona:D
In case you couldn't tell from all the other posts the last couple of days, Daytona was a blast! The show was great, the animals were amazing, but the best part was all the gecko enthusiasts that were there. There are some truly awesome people in this hobby, and I was glad to meet many of them this past weekend.
I hadn't planned on purchasing anything at the show, but, well....you know how that goes;)
First up is a Diablo Blanco male I purchased from Ron. I needed a male to go with the females I produced, and this guy is perfect. I am way more impressed with him than I thought I would be. The eyes look even cooler against the white skin.
Second is a gorgeous little Bell Enigma I got from Paul Sage. Paul Sage, Paul Allen, and Steve Sykes all have amazing Bell Enigmas at the show.
Enough babbling, here's the pics:

Top notch additions!

Great move getting that male to outcross your females with! You'll have some choice offspring next year... :main_yes:

Forgot to mention, seeing those close ups of the eyes definitely sets them apart from regular solid eyed Blazings...

Great animals Jason!...I have to admit that seeing the Diablos in person definetly made me a instant fan!.....and MAN those guys did have some gorgeous bell enigmas at the show!..... it's so hard to fully appreciate how unique they are until you actually see one in person.....and while we are at it; Great eye shots!...I know how frustrating they can be (I still havent taken a really good one of my bell enigmas or solid red eyed raptors).
.......and I know many have said it but it does bare repeating....the highlight of the weekend WAS meeting the many terrific people that enjoy this fascinating hobby and also having so many of you more experienced guys and gals welcome us "new-comers" and share so much of your valuable information. It was a fantastic weekend!

Exactly, that is what made the whole weekend, it was unreal to me how willing the top breeders are to share what they have learned, it really got me even more motivated to get up and start producing some great animals.
