I've figured out this little guy is only a couple months old, and very timid...I'm a first time Leo owner, how often do they shed?

When a gecko is little they would shed more often because they are going and fast but when they get older they will start to shed less often.Very pretty too

They shed more if you feed them more, since they grow more.

Sorry I can't post any pick right now. My internet is down so I'm on my phone, so I'm just going to revitalize an old thread of mine...BUT here is my question, which is in reference to the "Muddy Waters" post in the genetics forum. Ok, I got my gecko about a month and a half ago from a local pet shop which if independently owned and sales only reptiles, amphibians and birds. He breeds his own geckos...SO...what morph/name is my gecko? And would he be considered a "mutt"? Pics are above....thanks

I would label that gecko a normal.

Is it yellow and purple with black spots?

I'm color blind so your guess is as good as mine HA HA. I know he has yellow though...his spots are diminishing as well. These are older photos.

A gecko is normally labeled "hypo" if it has 10 spots or less on it's back. I guess you can go from there!
