youtube video, someone places snake with Gecko, why?

I seen youtube video and this huge snake was beating up a gecko, that is cruel. The person had them both in the same tank. Why do people do that? Poor little Gecko. I think someone should feed that idiot to a snake for dinner. :main_angry:. I seen some of the comments to the video and some people were very upset. Like the whole snake was rapped around the gecko. I'd like to say what I think but I doubt I can say bad words here.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who don't share the same ethics we do concerning the welfare of animals. Watching their videos and commenting on them only helps give the attention they're seeking albeit negative.

That's just how it is, snakes, lizards, mammals everything will just eat anything in the wild, it's the same as a snake eating a mouse or a rabbit, we just see it differently because we keep geckos and love them and understand them.

What kind of snake was it? Were they feeding the gecko to it?

Vine snakes eat house geckos and anoles

I would have to agree with the above. It really is no different then feeding a live mouse or rat.
By no means would I ever feed a reptile to a reptile.
