This morning i got ready to feed her like I do 3 times a day with slurry. She wasn't as responsive to her feeding time as usual and it conderned me until i saw she was (what I thought) trying to go to the bathroom. Figured I would wait and see if she went then tried to feed her again...

Well this all started when I got these two geckos, advertised as a breeding pair, about a week and a half ago...see thread
http://www.geckoforums.net/showthread.php?t=40419

Well the previous owner actually left them together and let the male attempt breeding of this girl whom only weighed 22 grams when i got her. Have been feeding her 3 times a day since and had her gain a few grams just to this morning during her "bathroom time" it appeared there was a yellowish colored round thing trying to be pushed out. now number one i know she cannot have good eggs by any means and number two I am so scared she is going to pass away just trying to push it out or lack there of. She is very weak and I have not had enough time to get her fattened up.

I guess my question is...can she even produce eggs of any sort in her condition? and
Is it possible she could even pass them at all under this type of weakness so that i may continue to try and save her life?

I really don't want her to die but if she is in any pain at all I know it will be for the best. No herp vets in my area and no one around here will even look at her or to euthanize (which I attempted to as for initially thinking there was no hope) She lays around most of the time but will walk around the enclosure and after feeding i leave her out of her hide to see what she does. She always waits a bit then walks over to her favorite hide and goes in. She walks on me and even makes noises at me occasionally as well as opening her mouth to let me know she has had enough, making me fel like there is hope. I have discussed her with fallen_angel amny times in IM and told her Zari seemed to have the heart of a dragon bcause she in no way ever acted as tho she was ready to give up. Sorry for such a long post. Any ideas?

Give her a warm soak and see if that helps her pass the eggs. Other than that, just continue trying to feed her and keep her warm and comfortable. I'm hoping for the best.

poor thing. soaking is a good idea.

if you need to put her down could you get some dry ice? dh says they use dry ice to kill rats and stuff for snakes... it suffocates them slowly I think.
