OMG, OMG. Today is the first real day I have physically and emotionally been able to do intense damage assessment. At this point, it is easier to count the few babies that are symptom-free (so far) than the ones that have been affected or are already dead. My season is probably shot, but more importantly my spirit is broken.

Just when I feel like I am numb or detached enough to handle this, I slip back into despair. I feel physically sick to my stomach. I don't know if I can deal with this. Logically, I know things will work out... but I almost feel like just taking every one of these poor, beautiful little ones and putting them down to get this over with in one huge blow. I wish I could be more like some other breeders that aren't so emotionally involved with their geckos... it would be a lot easier.
