8-10 crickets and 2-3 waxworms last night

My geckos eat like crazy for the first time ever.
I was feeding them after i got home from work and dropped the usally 8 large crickets a day for my 2 leos adults and few wax worms. They eat all the food quickly, i was amazed so i put another 8 crickets they where eating like crazy i put a couple of wax worms and they were eaten in min that was all i gave them because i didnt no if thats normal i never seen that before. Male ate 10 crickets and 1 wax warms and the female ate 6 crickets and 4 wax worms.

How long have you had them? We've gotten adults that didn't eat very well for 6 months after shipping then out of the blue started scarfing down the food.

it is not unusual at all for geckos to eat mass amounts of food randomly and then other days not eat anything, they are smart and eat when they are hungry so if u kept giving them food they would have stopped eating because they were full, but they will randomly eat a ton like my gecko today has eaten tons of mealies and yesterday he had only had like 3

keekeio ate 16 crickets and would have eaten more had I let her and I feed her 8 crickets daily and Zynx 12 crickets daily
