Sorry for your loss. I went through something similar a few years back due to a faulty A/C unit so I know how discouraging this can be.

Ok, so I'm a little confused here. You use that heater for the room temperature or does that thing hook up to your tubs somehow?? I'm lost. Are you using a herpstat, ranco, helix, etc.? I'm not sure as to what actually happened. Can anyone explain this type of heating setup to me?

I'm pretty sure he used that to heat the room but it became the heater that keeps on giving and didnt turn off. I sense an insurance claim in the near future. I'd be furious. Even if it killed your favorite house plant, they need to reimburse.

I think one of the worst parts..
crested geckos cant close there eyes.. they still look alive.
