Yep its about that time... Of course the sibling is in shed as usual...

WOW! She's beautiful! I didnt realize that pure afghans were such a bright yellow! She even has carrot tail coloring! She is a stunning pure afghan! Bright and Beautiful!

very pretty mike! if its pure though how can it get that color and carroting? just asking
i have seen some afghans have this carroting and it makes me wonder if something has been bred (a few generations back, not you) into them. that color is insane!

Her color is almost hard to believe as an afghan... :main_yes: Her father is almost as yellow and also has some orange in his tail... Mom is pretty much your ordinary afghan aside from very high contrast markings... Imo we're just seeing the beginnings of selective breeding... I imagine had I gotten more than one clutch to hatch from this pair that most would be more like the typical afghan... I also believe that something in Cody's Pro Gutload may intensify color... :main_robin:
