Well, these 2 little girls (temp sexed, anyway ;) ) hatched 1 1/2 days ago. They are getting a fair amount of orangy coloration on their heads-particularly the first one to hatch). They are from Tremper Sunglow (Helios from my other posts) het Raptor x Giant Tang Tremper het Raptor breeding. I am thinking they might be Sunglows? I have never seen Sunglows as hatchlings, so not sure. I am also thinking they might be Giants, as most of my hatchlings hatch around 3". These 2 were pretty long and lanky (first one to hatch even more so) when they hatched, and about 4".

Anyway, I made a light tent today. This was my first try with it. :D

Here they are:

Thanks, Paul!

Bret, the most recent pic I have of her is from the end of January (so not too old, I guess lol). She's about 10" and ~75 grams so far. Hasn't been gaining much weight lately as she's been laying. She's such a lanky girl!

Thanks so much, Michael, Debbie, Thomas, and Andrew!

I can't wait to see if/how much they color up and if they lose their bands......time will tell!

I bet they will! Sunglows are always fun to watch change.

Totally. They hatch out looking like regular albinos, and POOF!! They transform rather quickly into orange beauties. :main_yes:

Thanks everybody! :D I need to get some updated pics of these girls since their 1st shed. They're getting a lot more color on their heads and down the sides of their necks. I left my camera at my Mom's after taking doggy pics. Will update as soon as I get it. lol

I'm pretty sure at least the girl on the left is a giant, also. :2thumbsup: Although they could both be. Jury's still out on that one right now. lol They're both bigger and l-o-n-g-e-r than the clutch of 2 TSF girls that I had hatch a week before them. At a week old, they're already 4.75" and 5". Time shall tell. ;)
