another male/female?

I was told she was probably a female by the pet store guy, but I'm not sure. It looks like there are two bumps near the base of the tail. They are also pretty small, so she may not be male and there are no real visible pores. let me know what you think. Thanks

She may have in the pet store. She is still pretty young I think though. I don't know when they can start laying eggs, but I have only had her for about 2 weeks and I think at most she is a couple months old.

update

Hi, I started this thread a while ago and everyone including me decided on female. Now I am having my doubts. I'm almost positive she is actually a he. He may have been to young when I posted the first time. Now he has larger bulges and the pores started to darken and look like they are actually functional. He is now about 35-40 grams. Let me know what you think.

I can't see any visible pores, but the bumps look like it could POSSIBLY be a male. Keep us updated with pix and maybe we will be able to tell in a week or so .

i was in your same dilema with my female. I couldn't decide whether he was a she or vica versa but those bulges are just pockets of fat that my female still has. So my guess is female. but there is the off chance she could be a he. I honestly didnt believe my girl was a girl until she was gravid:main_laugh: Just keep watching.
