My personal season ended a few months ago, with my last hatches on 10/23, but I have been incubating a pair of eggs from an acquaintance. The family adopted a male/female pair of geckos from a reptile rescue and were told they shouldn't be separated (I don't think we should get into this now). I have no idea what the parents' genetics are but they appear to be hypo high yellows. About a week ago, the first, smaller egg, started to collapse. I figured I'd toss it this past Sat. evening before I left town so my husband wouldn't have to deal with it. Imagine my surprise when I took a look Sat. morning and saw a little head poking out of it! I was even more surprised when the baby was born with a broken neck band and abberrent banding. This morning my husband called to tell me the second egg has hatched and this one is a full stripe! I'll take pictures when I get back to town this weekend. The family is letting me keep and sell the babies, although I'm trying to convince them to set up another cage for one of the babies and then eventually to house the baby and the mother in the larger cage and the father in the smaller one. Although I wouldn't object to a free supply of striped babies to sell . . .
