I and looking at getting a gecko within the next week or so and have a bunch of question. I think a basic up to date care guide would help with more of my questions. some questions include bigger tank=more geckos? I have a 55 gallon tank and a 10 gallon tank. lighting needs, heat rock, etc..

I have a fairly long caresheet that includes what you need and why, what you don't need and why as well as a section about activities for children with geckos (I think 3 may be a little young for this, but maybe with help . . .). I will send it to you when I get to my other computer if you will PM me your email.

Well if you think about it, it makes sense. I would want my customers to know how to properly care for the leopard gecko or geckos I sell them. I would feel really bad to sell them a leopard gecko and have it die because they didn't have a care sheet. If they have the care sheet but did not follow it, then it is on the customer.

I always thought that was really thoughtful of them to make sure each customer has a caresheet :)
LOL! In California, it is the law! ANY animal sold in California must have a caresheet to go along with it... even if it's a feeder mouse. I'd rather think it's just thoughtful, because I gave out caresheets before the legislature said I had to!

Marcia does that go for animals that are sold to ppl in other states that are shipped? Thats an interesting law but GREAT in my opinion, ill be doing it even though there is no law here about that.

I think that is kind of stupid.. what a waste of money to sell a feeder mouse with a caresheet.. save the trees, gosh, haha

Marcia's caresheet is pretty good too, so is Mallorie's

cripes, every1 on this site that has a caresheet is a good one.

That's a pretty good law for the animal's sake ;) although a caresheet for feeder mice is a little bit much.. but anyway, good to know, I'm a Cali native and will most likely end up living there again in the next few years!

Yup! Every gecko I ship out has to have a caresheet along with it. Same goes for reptile shows. I always did it anyway, so the new law didn't affect me.

Depending on what I am printing, I buy and use reclyed paper. That is also what everyone can do to help save the trees. I been using it for about 10 years. Sometimes it even cost more then normal paper.
