I'm not going to give a lot of clues for this one because I think I could give it away. I'll answer guesses though. I'm looking for the name of the landmark (or what it is famous for), City, and Country.

(Please excuse the scaffolding. The city was doing maintenance while we were there.)

NEW ONE

taken on holiday last May in a city that I have visited 6 times now and still love. Am looking for the nickname of the buildings in the centre. (I think it's the actal name of the buildings even)

Ah, I knew it was too easy! lol

A lot of my other vacation pics are from the Netherlands so I thought those would be WAY too easy for you.

might be true eventhough they say that it's pretty common to not know about your own country's hotspots :)

little sidetrack: where did you go in the Netherlands and did you like it?

We've been to Amsterdam twice but rode the train from Munich the first time so we got to see a lot of countryside on our way. We really enjoyed it. The dollar was very weak when we were there so that part was not so enjoyable! It's a great place to visit but the weather almost killed me. Going from Texas at 37C to Amsterdam at 10-15C or less what shocking to my little body. I was frozen the entire time. lol
