Double :main_yes: :main_yes:!

Me too.See it! say it!.Eclipse enigma & Eclipse Mack snow enigma.Very few people will get confused with this as there it is.IMO only proven primery morph warrent a trait name. That's either (recessive)-traits like Talbino,Balbino,Ralbino,blizzard,patternless,eclipse.(Co-dom)-traits like giant, mack snow.Dominant traits like enigma, hypo,TUG snow,GEM snow.Fixed polygenetic traits like jungle, striped, tangerine,*Super*in hypos. But combos of any of these traits should just be stated for what they are.Llike eclipse enigma or Eclipse mack snow enigma not B.E.E or black hole there is no statment to the genetic make up of thses leo's 'NOT ONE' trait is said.I for one wouldn't buy a leo a just coz of a fancy name.It all comes down to wheather i like it or not.Same with pretty much the rest of the reptile world IMO.You don't need to try and blag it.Say it for what it is and if people want it they will buy.Coz there are meny morph to come and it will just get out of hand.

I understand that you probably don't care, and I'm perfectly fine with that. But the whole problem I have is that only one genetic trait is identified with this acronym.

Rest assured, I'll call it what I want. ;)

I say if you want to complain, go search the net for every site that uses the term Dreamsickle, BEE, NOVA, EMBER, RADAR..... and tell them you don't understand why that nova looks like a broken jungle patterned eclipse eyed tremper albino enigma, so why is the term shortened to Nova. BEE.... broken patternless striped snake eyed enigma with 3 splotches of grey and a nose dot, why the shortened name again?

Paul, were you addressing me? In the case that you were, there's not a site on this endless internet that's going to convince me that these acronyms and "buzz names" which give no indication of genetic background are what I should be calling even one of my geckos. I'm a firm believer that folks are going to buy a leopard gecko because it's beautiful, and maybe because they're actually interested in the genetic traits that the animal posesses.

By the way, I don't recall having seen anywhere that there was a genetic trait called "3 splotches of grey" or "nose dot".
