I'm going to get a new lizard, but I can't decide between a Rieppeleon Brevicaudatus or a Crestie. I know that they are generally within the same price range, but which is a better buy? I was also wondering how fast crested geckos are. I know a bit about both of them, and I have the tank setup for either one.

1. Which is more enjoyable to keep, watch, and hold?

2. Which one is easier to keep?

3. Which is more hardy?

4. Are either of them worth the money?

chamelons are horrible in the area of hardness, they live 3-5 years 5 being that if you don't touch it, at all

yeah, i'd say crestie. chams are a lot of work for little or no handling. you can handle cresties as much as leo and they don't need heat or UVA/UVB.

I think Chameleons look nicer than Cresties, but that's the only good thing about them. Get yourself a Crestie my friend!

We had a cham. and she got cancerous tumors and died. The vet said that thay ae not uncommon. I have 4 cresties and LOVE them. They are alot more enjoyable.
