Been MIA.....

Sorry I haven't posted much lately. Being pregnant at 37 isn't all that it's cracked up to be. I've been having some complications, ended up in the ER once and had a last min amino yesterday and I am sooooo sore today. Didn't realize there would be that much tenderness afterwards.

Because of a small yet potentially big issue we will be having 2-3 more ultrasounds in the next few months to keep and eye on the growth of the baby. I have a SUA single umbilical artery, which means instead of having three blood vessels in the cord there are only two. Most babies do fine with just the two and some start to slow down their growth because the placenta is no longer able to provide enough life support and the baby has to be delivered early. We are hoping this is not the case and we won't have this little one till after Tinley.

For those of you that didn't catch the news we are having a Girl!! Her name is Victoria "Tori" Hunter Wares and we are excited!! The boys however are not thrilled at having a baby sister and we are trying to convince them of the perks. They aren't buy it yet. :main_rolleyes:

Don't realy know yet, court keeps getting postponed. Truthfully I don't see how she's going to get the courts to side with her when she can't even get her facts straight about the reptiles we have. I think they will see right through all her misleading info.

Ken's ex wife is taking him to court to try to keep his son from visiting us at our home because apparently between us both my geckos eat rats, we have a large boa, and the child is at risk for salmonella. She's also trying to get more child support claiming Ken makes tons of money of the sale of reptiles. Ummmm My geckos don't eat rats (a few pinky mice on occasion during breeding maybe), we don't have any large boas, and Devin doesn't even go near the snakes he has no interest except to see babies when they are first hatched. And who hear makes a ton of cash off their reptiles? I know there are a few on this sit that do it for a living and I know most of them make bellow min wage once you break down the man hours and overhead they put in.

We both and the court will find it funny that this all comes up as soon as she finds out that we got married and are having a baby. He had these snakes whene they were married so it's not like this is something new.

Thank you for all the well wishes. I've always been a postive person and at this point since it's all wait and see. All I can do is think about the positive. I get more ultrasounds and get to see her and more pics for the scrapbook!!!

Right now her growth rate is just above average not by much just once ounce, but it's a good sign. We've gone over all the things I can do and there really isn't anything. I can't eat anymore to try to help her grown it doens't work that way it's all in the man up stairs hands. So I'll just keep positive and all will turn out the way it should.

WOW, sorry that you have to deal with such a jealous and spiteful woman. But as you said, the courts will certainly find it interesting - what a waste of time to go out of her way with all of that bs. Spiteful and nasty woman indeed.
