I went to see KMFDM live last night in Atlanta!

I had a blast and managed to come back in one piece :D. (Despite getting hit with a few body surfers and sprayed with beer) I was up in the very front.

I got some great tour shirts, too. I took a few really crappy cell phone pics but I'm hoping the professionally taken pictures will be released soon.

This is the third concert I've been to this year, the other two were amazing, too.

2008: They Might Be Giants
2009: Pendulum, VNV Nation, KMFDM

What about you guys? ;)

Pictures!

We went to KMFDM on Friday!

We also went to see the Allman Brothers Band with Widespread Panic the weekend before. It was a fun, mellow show and the weather was gorgeous!

I like KMFDM, would love to see them live.

The last show I went to was Dylan, Willie Nelson and John Cougar Mellencamp. It was really good.

Steve and I have seen Rush, The Who, Smashing Pumpkins, Paul McCartney and Prince over the past few years.

Now back in the day (80's and early 90's) ... let's see if I can list some. Some of these do go waaayyyy back LOL

Metallica (many times), Rush (many times), Bob Dylan (many times), Smashing Pumpkins (4 times), Guns n Roses (one of the best shows ever), Aerosmith, Beastie Boys, Ozzy, Ringo Starr, Culture Club (LOL), Bob Segar, Moody Blues, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Michael Jackson/Jackson 5 Victory Tour, Green Day, Pantera, The Police, Billy Idol, Julian Lennon, Queensryche, Foreigner, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, KC and the Sunshine Band, Kool & the Gang, the Melvins, White Zombie, the Monkees, Motley Crue, Prince And The Revolution, Ratt, Poison, Run DMC, Rod Stewart,

crap I know there's more I can't even remember them all. Wow those were the days. I'm getting all misty eyed. Wish I could go back in time sometimes, things were so different then, everybody seemed so much happier.

That's an awesome list of concerts! I LOVE Rush.

We were going to see KMFDM, too, but my husband had to work. He's seen them many times, but I've only seen them as MDFMK a long time ago.

We went to the Say Anything concert this past Friday. They played with Eisley and Moneen. Amazing concert! I LOVE Say Anything and they've been at the top of my concert wish list for awhile.

We went to Warped Tour in August, too. At that one we saw: Aiden, Bayside, Down With Webster, Anti-Flag, Bad Religion, Less Than Jake, Danger Is My Middle Name, You Me and Everyone We Know, 3oh!3, Senses Fail, A Skylit Drive, and Cash Cash.

A few months before we saw New Found Glory with Bayside and Set Your Goals.

We're going to see Skinny Puppy (my husbands pick) on November 9th. That will probably be the last one for awhile.

We go to a lot of concerts!:D

Rachel, they're a German Industrial band wiki

Let's see, other concerts we went to this year:

Motorhead with Reverend Horton Heat and Nashville Pussy
Pink with the Ting Tings
Slipknot
Dave Matthews Band
Britney Spears

I think there may be more that I can't remember at the moment.

Just saw the Brand New Heavies last night at the House of Blues. I think we were their last stop in the U.S. on tour and they were recording. Good time even with the bass ratting in my chest and the suppressed hearing afterwards...

To find tickets to buy or find out what tickets are going on sale?

If you the meant the latter, I signed up for LiveNation and Ticketmaster to email me weekly. That's also where we buy usually buy tickets.

If you add your favorite artists on facebook, they sometimes sell tickets without the huge fees. I'm signed up for live nation and ticketmaster, too. Also, sign up for e-mails from your favorite places to see concerts. I get weekly e-mails for House of Blues and some other places. Facebook also sends me an e-mail when the artists I like have posted a concert near me. I also get AP magazine which has tour dates in it.
