Big terrarium or small breeding box?

Hello everyone.

When you bring a new gecko home, is it better for him to be put in a large well equipped terrarium or kept in a small breeding box for a few weeks before allowing him on a larger home?

I'm well aware of the quarantine requirements and I don't mean that. Imagine both enclosures would be empty, so the gecko could be quarantined in both. I mean what would cause him less stress and results in better practice... to keep him in a small container for a while or unleash him in a big vivarium.

I would put him/her in the permanent home. It would be defeating the point of acclimation if you move it twice.

I would actually use the smaller option (depending on how big the BIG one is).
The smaller area makes it easier to feed.

I would go larger, just keep them in their final home. Their going to have to learn to eat there eventually, though many times they wont eat when they have been moved and take a little while.

Okay, I want to clarify my answer.
BABIES I like to keep in smaller (5 gallon) tanks.
I have never bought an adult.
