My female bold stripe has been laying on me every time I'm not home, and she never lays in the laybox :( By the time I get to them they are hard as a rock dang her! 1 egg, then a few weeks later, 1 egg one day and another the next.

There is usually nothing you can do if your gecko is laying outside of the lay box. I find that most of the time, eggs laid outside of the lay box will be infertile. What kind of substrate do you have in your enclosure?

You can always put her in a small tank that has coco fiber substrate when it looks as if she's ready to lay. Sort of a gigantic lay box.

substrate is paper towels. what if I remove her hide and only give her a lay box that would double as a humid hide?
