Ive noticed that alot of pictures ive seen, the SS trempers have very light patterns for the most part, thats probably why it takes them so long to show/

Vey nice looking animals!

I have hatched a DB looking animal like yours from my own het. DB animals, but it turned out to be a pale looking Raptor.....
It gained alot of color within 3 weeks.... I hope yours doesn't!

So far I have hatched 1 snake eye DB (and 3 Raptors) from almost 30 egg's....
I had put 1 clutch in my female incubator, because my male incubator was full, and that clutch produced the DB :main_rolleyes:

The ones with light patterns seem to be males from my web search ability. Obviously males were what was desired last year, so higher temps were used. I have a few clutches of MTA X MTA cooking at 81, so time will tell if temp has an effect on the darkness of the pattern(if I get SSTA).

Thanks for the info. It's very hard to tell with the one that I've hatched. Maybe it is just a very pale raptor. I've hatched a lot of raptors this year, and this one doesn't look like any raptor I've ever produced, though. It's got more color than I thought it would, but the head and tail are completely colorless. I've also talked with a friend of mine who's hatched a few Diablo Blancos this year, and he said they all have some color to them. If you look at Ron's site, many of the Diablo Blancos he has pictured have some color on the body, and even at the base of the tail. I guess only time will tell. We'll see how it looks in a few weeks.

do the super snow trempers develop brown spotting like the bell super snows do? and do they have red eyes or black eyes?
all of the three strains of albino SS get a pattern. if you look closely in the photo you can see it is beginning to develop. as far as normal eyes or red eyes. i would assume it would have red eyes.

oh and jason, i really dig the "het" raptor and tremper mack snow as well :D

Jason, those are all incredible looking. I am particularly partial to the Raptors since I don’t have any of those yet. :main_laugh: Congrats.

One other the thing, there seems to be a lot of questions about the Tremper Super Snow’s. Rather then mess up your post answering them here I am going to start a new thread over in Morphs And Genetics.

Once again, great animals.
