Gregg, those are some very nice looking gaboons you've got there!
Back in my youth I had a (free) gaboon female that was a retired breeder, she was HUGE and very docile. Great looking animals, but definately for the experienced owner ;)

The Hot Show in Jefferson Ohio went off great. It started slow but picked up nicely. Hopefully everything goes well and the next show will be in OCT.

Sorry venomous I do not know why I said poisness.... But I use to live in the little town called Weimar in the middle of nowhere and we lived on a little bit of land. And I had a pet 6 foot diamond back rattle snake that I caught on or property. My dog cornered it lol. Just thought I would share that with you guys. I also caught alot of copper heads too.

Gary, those are beauties... Glad to see you finally got a pair... Very clean looking gaboons... I had to get into the East Africans this year... Especially these two gems... They have some really good soft patterns and the colors are great on them... Although they are not as huge as the West Africans, they are still awesome...

A side note....
East African gaboons seem to have larger fangs than the West Africans... Atleast, that is what I have noticed...

Also, Gary, one of my female A. ceratophora seems to be gravid... I may have some little Atheris worms in a few months...

I WILL be there dude... It would be cool to finally meet you in person...

I hope that my article is helping you out... Remember that one of the more important aspects of their husbandry is proper hydration... I admit that I may be a bit extream (hour long soaks once a week, injecting prey items with water, constantly moving them to a water dish) when it comes to their hydration but it is what works well for me...

Good luck with those beauties and if you have any issues, let me know...
