P.S. In future, I would recommend buy from a breeder, not a store. Unles you KNOW for a fact that

You can try to find a site local, or you can just pay the $50 shipping xD...but if you find a local one they are as cheap as $20.

get a refund and buy a healthy one from online.

This is what Marcia was talking about. He has a 14 day health guarantee, so use it. There are 0 reasons not to have him at a vet's clinic right now.

You can get a normal for only like 25.00. And they are very nice.
Some folks are selling some nice morphs pretty cheap too! :main_yes:
You just need to do some hunting on the net.

Take that sick leo back and tell them you want a refund!! you DONT want to take a chance on another possible sick animal!!!!!!!

Only thing is, you will need to come up with the $50.00 for overnight shipping.
But it's worth it. Trust me, you will have peace of mind knowing that you
got your leo from someone who specializes in and loves them!

If he got it 7/27 it is too late to bring it back...its already the 18th of august. Even if it was under warranty, if the problem is an injury, they wont' take it back.......the guarantee is to cover illness they may have come into the store with or picked up in the store. An injury occuring after you bought it is not the store's responsibility.......if it was still under the guarantee and you have a store with good staff...they might still take it back....but they are under no obligation to take an animal that was injured after purchase back.

At any rate....if you haven't taken it to a vet b/c you don't know where to go......at least ask the store you got it from what vet they use. It may not be the best vet in the area, but at least you will know that they see exotics. If you can't afford a vet take it back to the store and explain the situation.....they may be willing to take the animal back to treat and adopt out later....they likely will not give you a refund, nor allow you to adopt the animal back though.

It may no longer be the store's responsibility, but they will probably take it back and give him a refund. The large chain stores are easy to deal with. They take zero financial loss, and are more interested in repeat business and reputation.

Please dont disscourage him, he seems a little confused and upset already :main_no:

I am horribly outraged at the thought of taking a leo back just because he's sick!!!!!!!
If a loved one was sick like your grandma would you take her back?
What he needs is love and care and attention!!!
You should keep him even more for that reason!
