I'm pretty sure he has worms, but I don't have any idea how to treat that!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I don't have much money right now, so a vet is out of the question.

Depending on the type of "tail shaking", I can think of two reasons. Either it senses a female is close by (this is more of a rattle than a shake), or it's agitated and wants to be left alone. I can't think of any other reason. :main_no:

I dont know how to treat worms other than a vet :(

I know its too late now and i sound like a preacher but u shouldnt really get a pet if you cant afford vet bills :(

I can see from your profile thingy you're only young so maybe you could try doing extra chores or something for some cash :) Maybe see if you can get a job delivering newspapers or mowing lawns :)

I have eight, and I'm 14 my family doesn't have much money right now. It's not that I can't pay it, it's just that I'd rather not spend ALL my money, so I can feed them!

Get Panacur.

I don't know much about it, except a friend (who works at an exotics vet and keeps leos) uses it to de-worm her reptiles.

I don't know how much to use, I'll be getting some in the next 24-hours. So when I figure out the dose (with my friend's help) I'll post.

I do know that you give a little, once a week, for 4 weeks.

You can also google it, and look around.

Just to give alittle insight in the vet world IT IS against the law to tell someone to give a drug and a dose for a reptile/mammal/bird. Only vets can prescribe and dose a animal, so i dont know if I would be posting on a public forum this info(hint hint). Im a CVT in a Zoo and worked in a exotics clinic and this is one thing that will get you in trouble quick.

Not only is it illegal, but you're not even positive that the animal has worms...the only way intestinal parasites can be diagnosed is with a microscope and a trained eye.
