lol. I would just leave it, imo. But you could put a piece of bread in a plastic bag and set it near him? Idk i read that online, but you could try.

I feel for you. I had one lost in the house for 2 weeks and the jerk was sooooo loud all night every night. One of my cats eventually did him in.

We were in the living room last night and noticed an adult cricket at the top of a curtain. We always order 1/2 to 2/3 crickets so I guess this one had escaped a while ago! LOL Our escapees are just ones that I drop while feeding the geckos. If you get a tall enough Sterilite tub, they can't get out. We used to have an elderly dog that was our cricket catcher. Those escapees never lasted long! So you could consider adopting a cricket eating dog. :p

Oh my dogs are useless I have 6 chihuahuas that are my Gf's dogs and I have a brittany last time a cricket ran across the floor all the Chis jumped on the couch and the britt almost looked up at it but i guess didn't want to expend any energy once in awhile i have one escape when i put them in a cup to feed then transfer to my geckos My gf tell me I'm supposed to catch them and put them back in the tank lol I tell her theres 2000 crickets in there one doesn't make a difference.

I have a brilliant idea, dont know why any of you haven't thought of it.

Walk into the doorway of the room the cricket is hiding in, quietly kneel down like you would to sooth a scared dog.

And start clicking, wistling, and calling "here! cricket, cricket, cricket!"
Its fail proof!
