Yeah I dont really see to much wrong with his eye. On the real close up shots of his head I personaly cant see anything wrong with it. Its a very handsome boy.

Eyelid deformities are NOTHING in my opinion. My theory is they are caused by eating alot of calcium at one time and that blocks Vit A intake(no I won't debate that).

I have good news for you. I think the minor eyelid deformity is not genetic. It is likely due to incubation temperature fluctuations. He can still be bred.

*Usually* eyelid deformities aren't genetic, but just due to a malfunction (like temp. fluctuation or humididy fluctuation) during incubation, or like Paul mentioned. I think you could breed him and be okay. He is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW. I can't stress that enough, he is just absolutely beautiful!!! What a little sweetie! Deformity or no, he's still an absolute treasure to have found from a store!!! I can only imagine your reaction when you saw him :heart:

Wow, he sure is pretty. I'm new and just learning the genetics yet, but honestly you will never know unless you do breed him if it is a small deformity, could be an injury, or anything else. Even if it is genetic for HIM he may never pass it onto an offspring either. Whenever you breed its kinda a crap shoot anyways.

Worst case, you get to love him and give him proper care for years to come and he's not stuck in a pet store. He's still stunning!! And even if your dad feels it was alot, we know, and you know its not. And from being a parent I can tell ya, the reason dad said yes or no wasn't the price tag, it was your reaction when you first saw him.

Give him some loves for me and dont be bummed, he's beautiful and enjoy him. He deserves it, and you do too.

Thank you all!!! I agree Even with his little eye deformity, that I didn't even notice before, he is gorgeous and I love him to death, he will climb up onto my shoulder, bury into my hair and lay there for ever, it's so sweet and cute!!

Eyelid issue or not he's very beautiful! and Very rare! I'm jealous, lol! Congratulations on your good find! It would be cool to find out if he's het for bell or tremper, etc.
