*Usually* eyelid deformities aren't genetic, but just due to a malfunction (like temp. fluctuation or humididy fluctuation) during incubation, or like Paul mentioned. I think you could breed him and be okay. He is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW. I can't stress that enough, he is just absolutely beautiful!!! What a little sweetie! Deformity or no, he's still an absolute treasure to have found from a store!!! I can only imagine your reaction when you saw him

THank you XDD <3<3 -pets Tortilla-

Eyelid issue or not he's very beautiful! and Very rare! I'm jealous, lol! Congratulations on your good find! It would be cool to find out if he's het for bell or tremper, etc.

THank you XD and Oh I know I'm curious as well!!
Only problem is that ha ha I don't know what any of my leos are het. for lol!!
I'll breed him to my Bell Albino, my normal who has awesome spots not splotches and my SHTCTB.

I wonder what I'd get :)
but I love him so much, he is so beautiful!

Honestly its such a minor deformaty I would'nt worry about I'll bet you if you incubate the eggs right you wont get any deformaties out of breeding him. Plus if not just haveing him is awsome, He is definately not something you find in petstores at all for that price so you pretty much won the lottery I've only ever seen patties and normal trempers and normals at most big pet chains so my guess would be it was someone who bought it and had to get rid of it so the pet store stumbled into it, rather than a supplier most suppliers are smarter than that. who would sell a gecko of that caliper for $90 other than an person who knows nothing about geckos. so good for you for finding it I think you can breed it and find out if the babies come out deformed but they more than likely will be fine. So Congrats too you.

I have my geckos as well, if you want to try out his hets. I dont mind, lol i just want some babies! lol

Higher end morphs w/ slight deformities could end up in petstores, for that reason alone. It is probably not a mistake.

Looks like you got lucky either way! My guess is, some breeder(there are only a few that supply the chain stores) was in a giving mood for the Holidays. :santa3: Congrats!
