Kristi, Fido rocks... Looks like he is putting on some size and coloring up real nice... You will end up with a killer red in a few months... I know that his brother and sister are getting better with each shed... Aside from being complete chow hounds, the color change is another very cool aspect of Brads hogs!!!
He's such a pig! I worry a bit about over feeding him. He's eating 2 small pinkies twice a week. He knows he gets two each time, too. Smart little guy!
Mr. Attitude finally bit someone Friday, but it was my husband and not me. He was moving him from his feeding tub back home and Fido latched on. No broken skin though and my husband didn't even feel it. Still freaks me out though!
Sounds like a normal feeding responce... The only time I ever get bit is either before or right after feeding... It is usually quick... Once they realize you are not eatable, they let go... Although I do have one male who is a complete phsyco and will bite for no reason...
Fido was just looking for more pinkies when he bit your husband... Dont get freaked out Kristi... It is normal and as you can see, harmless...:main_laugh:
He is adorable! And I really wouldnt worry about him biting. Just like Gregg said, just had to do with feeding. My little hog is only about 6g. Do you think I should offer two pinkies at a time? Or just stick to the one twice a week?
