Finally the first babies hatched :), from my White & Yellow Group.
First two pictures show one hatchling W&Y x Mack Snow Ghost - very interesting - no black except the eyes, next two pictures show two hatchlings from W&Y x W&Y, it will take some months until they show their typical W&Y coloration.
regards, Andrea

Thank you all :)

There is no tremper-gene involved, the first one has black eyes and none of the parents is het. for tremper. The two with dark pattern on the body (from the same father as the first one) are definetly W&Y (from W&Y xW&Y), they can easiely be identified as W&Y by the purple hue on the head and the edge of the dark markings.

If you can explain to me how you hatched albinos out of "non hets" I'll be more then happy to believe that you hatched the next new albino strain. Most W/Y's that are out there are het for tremper or at the very minimum poss het for tremper until proven non het.

As far as having dark eyes, I have seen more then my fair share of tremper hatchlings that have very dark eyes that appear to be black. I would stronly suggest test breeding your W/Y's out to prove them as non het

At the time I purchased my W&Y (2009) from one of the very few breeders (if not the only one at that time) who was working with them and was offering offsprings, there were not many hets for tremper out there. And if so the breeder would have mentioned and charged the fact of het. tremper.
The female Mack Snow Ghost is from a very reputated breeder who keeps all the record of the genetic of her animals, I would be also very surprised if the gecko would be het. tremper but frankly I did no testbreedeing so far to be 100% sure.
So far the eyes of the hatchling (two days old now) are really dark black, but time will tell, I will make some eyeshots in a couple of days.

The first pictures are the same hatchling, and I don´t know what to say, for me the eyes do not look like Albino eyes and the genetic of the parents (as explained in my posting above) make Albino quite impobrable.
although I have to admit that there is no melanin on the body
Here are two pictures (no flash, just daylight and slightly overexposed to see the pupil)) including an eye shot from today, Regards Andrea
