Wow, those are nice babies and a nice line-too bad no one has a male with enough neives in him to lend to kelli for a season. The stripe really comes across well.

Solid!

Yes the genetic lines are very strong with those geckos. I would love to get some of that into what I am breeding. I have a small but pretty solid rainwater collection which I just added a couple of Jeremy's prodigy to. Looking into the future I am going to need a male right along the lines of that male you have robin.:p
Thanks for sharing the great pics!

Awww that sucks...

You can really see the Nieves influence in those two het Bells. They're gorgeous!

Did Red Stripes come from the Nieves lines? :main_huh:

nieves's definitely have their own unique look, thats for sure

HQR said they came out wait i cant remember the exact story but they said it wasnt nieves line geckos. i however think it was and then of course they started adding hypo (or so it looks like it from the progression over the years) to the lines which rather jacked up the look of them

Not sure ...

I need to ask Jeremy if his orange influence in his Raining Reds are Nieves lines or something else. Also should speak to Dan about his Firewaters as well. I will send them an email and ask unless they pop in here and see this thread.

It was amazing to see Kelli take the Bells from yellow to orange in a fairly short period of time and I would have to now agree that the Nieves influence had to play a role.

Cool information!

I'm intrigued by these so much now! When did they come about and why are pure ones so rare?

Note: Got into leos in '98, but had to quit in '00. Came back in '05 so I missed A LOT...
