Last night I shipped out what was essentially the last of my leopard gecko collection. It was one of those big 30" Superior boxes with a total of 51 geckos in it. It was supposed to arrive by 10:30 this morning, but it never did. Tracking it shows that it never left DFW, so I called FedEx. They don't seem to have any idea where this box of geckos is.

I KNEW this would happen. When I dropped them off last night I got a really bad gut feeling as I walked out of the shipping center.

I haven't thrown up yet, but I'm getting really close. I'm supposed to be in class right now too, and my exams start Saturday.

Oh my god, Paul. I'm not a prayin' kinda girl, but I'll say one now for these little guys. :(

At least you pack well.........that is a small comfort. Keep us updated.

To add to the fun I've had this week, my phone & DSL keeps going in and out.

Anyway, they arrived at the Memphis hub at 1030 this morning. For some reason that no one can tell me, they were held up leaving DFW. The lady who called me back said they probably wouldn't be in Kansas City (that's where they're headed - don't know if I mentioned that) until tonight, but I just tracked it and it shows they're in KC right now.

WTF... I haven't had a package delayed in almost two years. It just HAD to be this one.

Just to let you go out with a 'bang'!!! Maybe it was a subtle reminder of one of the reasons you don't want to do geckos anymore?

I'm glad they are accounted for, Paul! Keep us posted...

FINALLY... the package arrived and I heard back from the buyer. They had tornadoes in the area last night so downed powerlines and trees caused even further delays. Fortunately all of the geckos are alive and apparently doing well.

Now I'm going to go pass out.
