Full Carrottail. so close...yet so far away!

Thought it would be nice to share some orange!

This has been a long project (and at times frustrating, like most polygenic selective/line bred traits), but sometimes seeing that orange just makes me smile. If only carrottails were recessive =)

Most of my older photos prior to 2003 are on my other laptops, but here are some carrottails from the past.

The animal pictured is a Super hypo tangerine carrottail cross. I used the grandfather of this animal who was 70% carrottail to cross into my eclipses to create my carrottail eclipse projects.

I LOVE the designer eclipse! That's definitely the look that I love most. I prefer lots of orange and no dark spots on my eclispe.

Thanks! I'm working on a few interesting "designer" eclipse projects for this year. One of them is junglish/stripes/weird patterns/paradox yellow and orange splotches on the body
