funny story!

So today i went to ***** to get some crickets and meal worms which i hate to do because i get them fro free at the family owned pet store i work at BUT i was glad that i did! i can never resist looking at the leos although every time i do i get sad but i looked and moved on and went and got what i needed. as i was walking back past the leos i saw an orange blur flash across the floor and when i looked down there was a little leo staring up at me cute as can be! he was just wandering around as he pleased, and i fealt so bad that they were taking *suck good* car of ther leos that he had escaped and had no food and water...or heat. so i snatched him up and he sat on my sweatshirt while i checked out and i took him right home for a nice meal. here he is...he looks fine to me but what do you guys think?

wow i had to read that twice before i realized he was on the floor of the store. thats sad that apparently no one noticed. but he look really healthy to me. alot better than most i see in those places.

I'd bet he was busy finding stray crickets and sleeping under the employee fridge. :main_laugh: Otherwise, he must have JUST escaped. He's pretty plump to have starved for any amount of time.

I have never been in a big chain pet store without seeing at least one cricket running around the floor. That leo's got a really fat little tummy.

haha no i did not steal. the woman asked me at the register how long i have had the leo, and i said about 5 minutes I just found it on the floor and she shrugger her shoulders and said " well finders keepers" so...i took that as a "you can have it"

That just goes to show how much some of the employees care. That woman probably realized it would have a better life escaping that place!!!!!
