Jaz - Can I ask where you got your Abys? Can I see pics of the parents?
I have also produced SSE that look like those pictured. I am interested in trying to figure out this "enigma" and how/why we have produced these geckos, Kelli included :)

And Ron said i could sell these as long a I dont low ball his market.

What the hell gives ANY breeder the right to make a statement like this? As if it's any of his business what pricetag you put on your geckos. Arrogance and entitlement, plain and simple. :main_rolleyes:

Those are beautiful geckos. I know the Galaxy is not a new morph at all, and is merely a line-bred (is it?) Super Snow Eclipse, but they are quite attractive.

Don't be mean Marcia. :)
Ill post pics of the parents tomorrow if I have time.

One thing I did forget to say is that the Abyssinians have peppered spots. The shattered spots you see on the head and tail of eclipses spreads all over the Abyssians body. The more pepper the better. The Parents show this a ton.

You bought them in 2008? Did you get hatchlings or adults? My curiosity is unbearable.

Slow down buddy. I went to his ranch twice and looked at every single animal he had. Picked out the best examples his lines. Pretty much went to school thanks to him. So we have an understanding. He sold me future genetics on the premise that I wouldn't low ball him when he released the lines. The galaxies where not even named galaxies. They where two babies that looked different and cool but they still needed to see what would happen. I was ecstatic about all the cool patterns the Snow Abys where throwing. I knew I would get the next step SS Aby next year as an added bonus. If I was lucky. The name Galaxy was news to me. :) I would have released the Abyssinians Snows first. Im sharing a lot of inside stuff so dont get negative on me or trempster.

It sometimes saddens me to think such a great hobby (reptiles, geckos in particular) is referred to as 'a market' or pricing animals has anything to do with "the market', 'market prices', or that price is even considered when workign with an animal you really like, and color forms you like. It should be about what you like, not what other people buy or sell for. Scr*w Ron and his 'market'. I bought one of his best Emerines a while back and have since sold offspring for 15% of what he sold them for. Put that in yer pipe and smoke it!

More on topic though- I bet you can/do produce some cool looking color forms from that!

These are the parents of my galaxies. The Peppered spots show on the male and females backs. They both have reverse stripe showing through and the weird green yellow. I really love how these animals look. :)

I really love how these snows look. I'm an artist so I see them as paints to the next years canvas. Layering the snow gene over the Abyssinian mustard and peppered spots looks cool.

This is blind loyalty at it's finest. I'm sure once Craig Stewart pours honey in your ear you'll be his best customer as well. I find it funny that people that talk to Ron and Craig are always sold by the sales pitch. But then again they always try to sell to those that have a weaker constitution. Good luck with your Super Snow Eclipse but if you want really nice onces talk to Kelli. Hers are better IMO

I would like to know how you can call these "galaxies" when they don't have the yellow spot? Your breeders look like nice Snow Eclipses and your 'galaxies" look like nice SSE just like Ron's.

This comment is a day and $290 too late for me. And I don't think I ever even got to talk to craig.

Well, I AM mean! LOL!!! I am just fed up with people calling 'their' version of an already established combination morph by a different catchy name. (BTW, I love your geckos, Matias... whatever they are called!)
