55 last month and I've been keeping leos since 2003. My kids think I'm nuts and have no interest. The good thing is that the kids are older and I'm at the stage of life where there won't be any major changes (I hope) till I retire (with twin 17 year olds who will be going to college in a year and a half, that's not going to happen any time soon).

42 here and I just got my first gecko's 3 months ago from a friend who didn't want his anymore. I love these little critters! They are so much fun to watch and take care of. I am hooked.

Proof of Age

I'll be joining the 30 and over club at the end of January. Not really feeling it yet, hope I don't start to :)

Yes, glad to have another "old person" join up.
Don't forget to supply a copy of birth certificate,
picture ID, Membership fee, and pick a date for
your initiation bash. This year we have chosen
bungee jumping from a bridge nearest you.
Take care. Hj

Eeeeek! I think I'll be the camera person, so if anyone splats on their bungee jump I can sell it to the local news station and make some extra cash :)

I really am a kind and caring person.. muwahahahaha

Birthday Girl

I'll be 36 in 10 days. Kept leos for 9 years; currently have 9 leos, 2 knobs, and 2 leo eggs in the bator. :D

I think Bonnie released her Birthday so to get a B-Day party. So I'll set you up one.
H-A-P-P-Y, H-A-P-P-Y Birthday Bonnie.

Take care. HJ:D

Haha, thanks HJ! I am counting days because my first ever leo eggs are due around that time; if they hatch out fine its going to be my best birthday present ever!

p.s. Reading this thread makes me feel all young and refreshing! Ha!

Not that you want to think about this yet, but eventually wont it be really cool to for your future grandkids to say that their Grandma keeps geckos? I think that would be awesome! I want to be that kind of grandma! Geckos keep you young :)

This is where the thread thought came from....{Tara}
I didn't want Tara to think she was
"old people hooked on geckos"
yet.....
So lets see how few oldies but goodies
there are out there.
I doubt you top this old-n-crazy kind-a-guy.
HJ is here and close to 74 years young...
with 30 leos to date...
Sign up over 30's and don't forget to save your
ticket stubs for the year end drawing for the
BRAND NEW CAR (photo):D
Take care. HJ

Your Grandkids must think you are AWESOME! Do you have grandkids HJ?
I wish my grandfather kept geckos :) Well...he's got an in-ground pool...and he lives directly across the street :) so I guess that counts for something too :main_thumbsup:

Little Late...some member double duty.

Yeah, have wonderful grand kids.
One girl morph, one boy morph.
They do think I'm awesome, but also that
I'm a nut case that lives for daily humor,
and old story telling. When reviewing some of their
school papers I find that some of my stories
make it to the class room as assignments.
Makes me LOL.
All morphs so far are coming from one pairing.
Second pairing female wants to
have another larger humid hide in place
before thoughts of youngsters.
Hope I can wait that long. LOL
Take care. HJ

that sounds like my husband's grandfather... I used him in a lot of my college papers... his storytelling is the stuff legends are made out of :)
