Could be too cold but he/she probably just doesnt want to, it might just wait till it sheds to use it.

Not all geckos will use a humid hide. We have some that prectically live in their humid hide. We have some that never use a humid hide, and some that seem to go through phases. Leave the hide available, and if you don't see any usage after a month or two then replace it with some other sort of furniture.

I keep my humid hide on the warm end of the tank; maybe you can try moving it to the other side of the tank?

I would try moving it to the warm side of the tank and seeing if you have a different result. What are you using on the inside of the hide?

Your humid hide should stay on the cool side... The only time leos should be using the is to shed or lay eggs... Other than that, they should not be spending extended periods of time in humid conditions...

Two of my geckos use their humid hides all the time, while my other gecko does not. It just depends on where they want to lay.

My leos dont use their humid hides either, but I help them shed by misting the hides here and there. I clean everything once a week so mold doesnt conquer the fortress.
