Hello,
I work at a petstore and a customer came in looking to surrender their leopard gecko to the store. The store doesn’t take in animals but I decided to take it home.
I was informed they got it 7 months ago and that it didn’t eat much and had trouble catching bugs. Looking at it is definitely too skinny, including its tail.
It is active and loves to bask under its heat lamp.
But as of today it hasn’t eaten anything, I tried mealworms, fruit, repashy, nothing seems to peak its interest. It did lick a little fruit puree but refused it after a little.
I’ve only had cresties so leopard geckos are new to me.
Anyone with advice or a similar experience with their leo have information?
Thanks
