GIANT RED EYED BANDED!

We I wasnt quite expecting this when i had gotten home..lol THis little one was from pairing a raptor(non giant) to a giant tremper albino(no raptor genes to my knowledge). He/she has 2 full red eyes and is quite the looker already. ENjoy!:main_thumbsup:

Wow I didnt know the raptor eyes (eclipse) carried over to Trempor albinos? Wouldnt your trempor need a eclipse gene somewhere?

Thats exactly the question im trying to figure out. THe mom (a giant tremper) does not have raptor genes to my knowledge. Thus i have no clue why the eye trait has passed, or maybe she does have the genes..lol

I say it again, that the red eye thing makes the gecko look so much better. Awsome Gecko. This is kind of what I have been complaining about to myself. The RAPTOR thing is not as cut and dry as I thought it would be. Anyway, great looking gecko Pat.

That's sweeeet! RT told us that a lot of his giants could be carrying RAPTOR genes. I don't think he really kept records of what he was breeding into those lines. Congrats!

SWEET :main_thumbsup: RT fed giant blood into RAPTOR so very'very likely that there are giants out there with the eclipse gene in your case albino eclipse-AKA-Ruby eye.
