Thanks for the info. I have a jar lid with mealies right outside her humid hide. She does seem to be thriving. I've had a hatch from the next clutch yesterday who looks fine.

Here are the best pictures I could get of my special needs gecko. In the first picture you can see how beautiful she is and can get an idea of her front legs. In the second picture you can see how her left front leg kind of turns in and the little stub you see from the top of her right leg is about all there is. She seems to be able to bear weight on her longer front leg, but the foot seems to be useless.

On another note, I hatched the next clutch from this same pairing. One, the albino, is fine and the other who hatched a few minutes ago has a deformed right front leg but it's not nearly as bad as the one in the picture. The leg bows out a bit and the foot has only 2 toes, but she seems to be able to walk normally. All these deformities have come from the same pairing, both parents het for albino. Interestingly (but maybe only coincidence), all the albinos have looked normal and the non-albinos have had the deformities. Last year I hatched 3 from this pairing (2 albino) who were all normal. This year 7 have hatched: 3 normal (2 of them albino), 3 with deformities including one who I found dead in the incubator and one that I also found dead in the incubator that seemed to be normal.

Any thoughts as to what's causing these abnormalities? It is interesting that the male of this pairing is the only breeder who eats mealworms exclusively, but I raise my own mealworms (and have had no problems with production) and use progeckos gutload.

She seems to be doing really well. I don't see her eat, but she goes across the cage to the bathroom area and leaves me a present every day. Last week when I weighed her she was 5 grams, but she looks as if she's growing well. What size viv do you have for her? If it's a 10 gallon, measure the **outside** width and let me know. I am getting tiles for my set-ups and will get an extra set but I need to know if the width is just 10" or a little over or under (there are 2 tank makers and one makes the 10's a little narrower which affects what tile to get).

apon a quick measurement it measures about 10 and 1/8" wide and 20" long... does that sound right if not ill go back and re-measure... i measured the tank its self, not the black edgeing :) thanks a ton for all of your help!!!

If it's 10 1/4" wide, it can take a standard tile that claims to be 10" (but is really about 9 3/4"). Unfortunately, Home Depot just stopped carrying all the tile sizes that work best for a 10 gallon tank --10x3, 8x10, 6x8. I just ordered three 10x20" tiles and have an extra. I'll bring it and we'll see if it fits.
