I've been wanting to show off this great new enigma 66% het tremper that I got last week from Mel & Keith. I didn't get a chance to take pictures until last night because of Passover. I had seen some beautiful geckos on their website but they were nearly all het bell and I only work with trempers, but when I asked them, they found this for me. She has had a lot to get used to, not only the trip from Texas to Boston, but also the transition from a rack (as I understand it) to a tank and from superworms to crickets and mealies. She has come through like a trooper. She had a very slight head tremor right after shipping, but that disappeared very quickly. She has calmed down, investigates her cage at night and has let me hold her without freaking out. Maybe she will be a breeder at the end of the season if she gains a bit more weight. Her name is Yahli.

I'm glad she's settling in well! Is there a meaning behind Yahli? That's a really neat name.

"Yahli" is a Hebrew word that means "God is mine" or "God is for me". It's actually usually a male name, but I think it works for a female. Don't worry, I'm not planning for her to become a religious fanatic.

Ha ha! We're very open minded, we let all of our geckos choose whichever religion they want. (As long as it doesn't involve a massive gathering to drink the koolaid.)

Aliza, she is a beauty of color all over, but the Head and nose tip are very
impressive. Artwork in that area...Pattern, layout, and shades,
are really appealing. Would love to see a close up of the head
and eyes. Take care. HJ

Thanks. I'll do my best (eventually) with a photo, but I am a really lousy photographer.
