Baby Leos make a great deal of noise if they are in the right mood. My WC flying geckos can be rather vocal too now and then, or when you pick them up and they want to tell you all the ways they will eat your face. The Mourning geckos are always talking in their chirp, whistle and click language. The only geckos I have that have never made any noises are the Cresteds, they are so quiet.
When they are sleeping, try rubbing (or gently poking with) your finger on the side of their backs just above the rear legs. After a few seconds, they'll usually get annoyed, and make a really funny sound while shaking their heads. Sometimes they'll do it awhile awake too, but usually more when they're sleeping or drowsy.
I try not to do it too much, but it sounds so cute that I can't help it once in awhile. :main_rolleyes:
