I sent eight of my babies to Texas yesterday, and UPS has lost track of them somewhere in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. NOT HAPPY!!!! :furious3:

Yes, but this was also my first time shipping so not exactly off to a good start. :main_angry: I'm just glad they made it safely.

yes they arrived safely after a scare, all were in very good condition and didn't seem stressed at all. from what we got from UPS, they put the package in the wrong "section" on the delivery truck. my issue was that the UPS guy actually visited my wifes place of business earlier that morning to deliver another package, and why wouldn't have the geckos been placed with that one? either way, thanks tony for keeping in contact with us and following up. we really appreciate the help in tracking them down, and thanks to Scarlet in the Fort Worth UPS hub who really went above and beyond to help them get to us safely. The adults are munching down on supers as we speak, and i just put a few mealies in each of the babies tubs. great packaging btw and those pictures did them no justice... the HC Giant and that RAPTOR are spectacular. and i cant wait to see how that mack snow male turns out. will update with pics on the before and after thread.

I'm glad they made it safely! We've had something like this happen but not with geckos luckily. I had two packages coming on the same day, one was delivered in the morning and I got stuck waiting for the second until 5pm. I called and found out that since one was shipped 2nd Day and the other Ground, they get automatically get sorted onto different trucks because of the different guaranteed delivery times. This could have been what happened at your wife's work, 2 different drivers.

I had a package delivered from Fed Ex yesterday. I thought it was lost. It finally showed up at 9:30pm. The driver didn't knock and just threw it by the front door in some plants.:main_angry: Luckily I had the tracking up so I could see it was delivered.

Shipping companies make me crazy! We've had a lot more issues here with fed ex though.

I think all of the companies are about equal it just depends on your local delivery people. We've been having issues with our regular USPS mail carrier lately. He delivers the mail to our box and doesn't take the outgoing mail. Arrggg!! lol
