I thought about heating a unit like that for a long time. The best I can think of is to put a piece of plexiglass along the back of the unit and attach either heat cable or heat tape to it. Many racks provide heat at the back instead of on the bottom. The 2 things to watch out for are being sure that there is enough air circulation and that they can't get out the top.

either heat tape w/a thermostat or the MINI heat pads that can be used on plastic should heat them well. I have a similar setup for my hatchlings

Can you affix small undertank heat mats to the bottoms of the containers? I like the Ultratherms...they don't get too hot, so no danger of melty bins.

I'd drill some holes along the tops of the plastic bins for air circulation. ;)

i would suggest heat tape at the back..:)
where did you buy it? and what brand is that?:) im looking for that kind of plastic stacked containers here in philippines.. thanks!
Im not sure. I was helping my cousin move out of his dorm and he didnt want it anymore.

I was thinking it would be a good system for keeping hatchling leopards. And it doesnt take up a lot of space.
