Thank you, Danke schön. I need a little time to put more photos in the forum, I just moved in an other house - more space for the animals. There are three photos of my first enigma, two houres after he hatched in the photo gallery.

Hello. Welcome to Geckoforums! That's cool that your from Germany, my mom was born there. :) Very nice collection you have there! Hope to see pics soon! By-the-way, I'm Emma, nice to meet you! *Shakes hand* So, do you plan to add any leopard geckos to your pack? I'm just going to warn you, they are as addicting as all those other geckos you have. :)

Thank you Emma, nice to meet you to.
sorry I wrote 4.18.14 Eublepharis macularius which is just the latin name for Leopardgecko. I still have 64 Leopardgeckoeggs in the inkubator. They are addicting!!!
Where in germany is your mom born?

hi to ole home country

Hallo Juergen,

So 'ne Schande. Viel Spass mit dem GeckoForum. Es ist wirklich sehr hilfreich. Ich haette da reingucken sollen, bevor ich meinen Kaefig mit Holzspaene auslegte... Alles Gute, Chrissy

Hi Bling,

I AM German ;-) But I've been living in the US for two years now (and studied here 11 years ago). I'm from Duesseldorf. Would you believe I've lived almost next to Hamm and never went to the reptile exhibition there?!? What a great opportunity.

Does anybody know any details about exporting geckos to/from Germany? What about quarantine when one wants to bring them into the US? I imagine it is quite difficult to transport geckos on the airplane. And probably quite expensive, too. I travel to Germany every year around Christmas and would like to know if it's possible/affordable to transport geckos by air. Or can one get one or two through customs in the carry-on luggage?

Chrissy

Thanks to everybody for the welcome threads!!! Thats nice.

Bling_my_leo: I know Augsburg, it is a nice town. Pretty old!
LZRDGRL: Sorry I don´t know anything about exporting geckos. I´ve just imported some to germany, but not on my own. I believe that it can´t be too difficult - but I doesn´t realy know.
